I know I can get a towbar fitted to my new GT when I pick it up next week but I haven't seen any pictures anywhere or heard from anyone on the forum who has already done it.

Searching back in the forum, even to 2004, doesn't show anything useful.

I need to see how much the bumper needs trimming and how you mount the electrical socket unobtrusively?

I know there is probably a very, very good reason for you needing a tow bar and I may get some flack from people for saying it....but PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEEEE dont fit a towbar to a GT

( as an aside I have never seen one fitted either )

Thanks Motty, I did see your original post of the 3.2 when I did my search but it didn't appear to be the type listed by AR in the accessory brochure. The proper Alfa type appears to be made by Brink (Elebi/Ellerbi) and requires a small-ish bumper cut. I've even found the fitting instructions but can't find any pics of one actually fitted.
