My daughters car has had a maf issue. All fixed now. At the same time as this started the petrol gauge needle started going from half a tank and correct to empty. It flicked between these two readings. Yesterday it pretty much registered empty. Today she filled it and it reads empty. I am sure the two events are connected by the recent heat wave but not sure why I even think that. I did think a thorough reseating of all the relays and fuses I conducted along with the MAF change may cure it. It hasn't. Any thoughts as to where to start looking Next? I thinking a possible earth fault? Thanks, John.
