HI ALL, MY 55 PLATE GT PASSENGER DOOR HANDLE HAS BECOME DETACHED ON THE FRONT ENDaranoid: IS THIS A DOOR CARD OFF JOB OR IS THERE AN EASY FIX PLEASE.

Door card off job,easy if you have replacement handle,I've read some posts here for diy fix of broken handle but not sure how long those will last

as you can see its a very well known problem,half hour of reading should give you all the info you need to fix it yourself. her is a link to the part you will likely need.

lots of guys say its easy..well for me it wasn't it's tricky and fiddly, I could do it now in about an hour I suppose but the first time took 3hrs and lots of swearing.

if you are not handy with the spanners go to a specialist, as you can actually break the handle when trying to fit the new hinge if you are not careful or just a bit unlucky.
