Hi everyone,
I have an 05 GT 1.9 JTD. During the recent cold weather, I had great difficulty getting it to start from cold. I thought maybe waxing of the fuel could be the problem, so when the weather warmed up a little, I took it and filled it up. Fuel companies put an additive in diesel during the Winter months don't they?
Anyway, now the weather has turned cold again, I'm having the same problem. It seems to need to turn over for ages before it eventually fires. Once warm though, it's now problem.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
Thanks a lot.
