Hi all,

Just getting to grips with my luvverly GT.. ( I was blind but now can SEE!) Doing all the things that the previous owner didn't. Full service, new discs, pads, belts, actuators, tensioners... the works.

Bled the clutch the other day... what came out was black and oily...not your average brake fluid, not your average crappy old brake fluid either.

now my question is this... when i've bled other clutches the pedal has wanted to return because of the aptly named 'return spring' in the master cylinder. The pedal on my GT had to be PULLED OFF THE FLOOR. Once the bleed nipple was closed normal clutch action resumed...

Is this normal behaviour for an alfa GT clutch or is my master cylinder knackered? Enquiring minds need to know.:)
