My wife and I had been researching garden furniture when something ideal turned up on a Groupon email. In stock and a good price so my wife ordered the set for over £300. As after a week in transit nothing turned up and she contacted Groupon by time consuming online chat. Told to wait and still nothing after another week so back online chatting. She was offered a refund of credit to spend on groupon. Next chat time she’s told it was damaged in transit so another offer of groupon credit. She doesn’t want to deal with them and she’s entitled to a refund. Time to contact the card provider. What a waste of time and money!

Absolutely.....refund of money is your right....they didn't carry out their part of the contract.

They did finally pay back into my wife’s account. They said the same “deal” recurred quite often and she should wait and use the vouchers to buy it again then. She mentioned contacting her credit card company and they refunded instead.
