Good find Guili! That is one serious piece of machine! :inlove: Let see if someone like Rudi will surprise us and get it to the reef.

:wow: I hope he still has the original wheels!
You mean he has them at home?
The 3.0L GTV6's that I have seen has those style mags, but the profile tire is to low to be true to the time it was produced. Those Mags seems like 18" where the originals would only be 16" or so...
Those big wheels does look good on this car.

Nice car and it looks absolutely clean.
Yes the oe rims were 15 and seeing that it was proper split rims had a bad habit of leaking if not looked after properly.
I doubt if the rims on the car would be larger than 17’s unless they worked on the body for clearance.

I do like these rims , they were out already in the late eighties.( or similar as dawie used to have a set) The original compos are great for racing and show days but are allergic to anything that looks like a pot hole. It always best to have two sets of rims . The 15 " originals and the 17 " for every day as it also helps with gear ratio. These cars are notoriously short . Some 3.0 came with 10/43 and some with10/41.
Even seen a few with 28mm torsion bars.
