Ok, I thought I knew it all about alfa spider a/c units. Here's a question that I would love to get some answers on. I have power going to the 2 relays mounted on the passanger side engine compartment. The a/c unit will not turn on either the interior fan or aux cooling fan. I have replaced both relays with new units. Still nothing. If I jump the circuit and go direct with power to both the aux fan, and the compressor, both turn on and work. But still no power comes thru the relays. The compressor clutch does not engage, so I'm quessing the compressor needs to be replaced, but if the compressor is not engaging, is there some sort of feedback loop that would somehow prevent the flow of current thru the relays. I am just too lazy right now to replace the compressor just to answer this question. If anyone has dealt with these type of problem, I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks, Russ

You'll get a more informed answer if you Post this in the Classics Lounge. " papajam " is very much an expert on Spiders and Posts regularly in there but I've never seen him Post in here so he may not see this Thread.

There are also a few more savvy Spider owners in there who can probably help.
