I am the dad who suggested the Mito to his 22 year old son - he'd never heard of it and now he likes the idea but he has read the negative press. Me, I grew up with the sounds of the Alfa classics like the Spyder and the GT Junior and have always loved the brand. We are looking to buy a 1.3 diesel with around 50k on the clock. Are there any pitfalls we should be looking out for? I read about the freezing alternator belt issue and the paint work issues but I also read the many love stories that Mito drivers have with their cars even if the paid motoring journalists slate the car for the slightest thing.
Really looking for advice from current owners so any help would be much appreciated.
