Just joined, this is my hello post.

I have a 156 v6 that has a very worn gear knob & I want to replace it with an alloy job. Everything I've looked at is non-lift reverse, has anyone out there replaced a lift-reverse six speed box gear knob, if so with what & how??

I also have 2 X1/9's in my garage in various states of (dis)repair..

I've replaced a 5 speed JTD lift up reverse....managed to get a genuine Alfa job from eBay.

Thanks for the welcome... It Manchester City slipperman, Wrinx, I think you must have been damned lucky to find a genuine one, I've been living on eBay for weeks & found loads of ones that won't fit... (did yours pull off or is it a treaded job?)
And probusterrace, I'm still working my way through the forums , but good advice.
