But he doesn't fight with a sword... he fights with a stick... and something as gay as Zorro doesn't count :p :p :p

That's a tough question. Errol Flynn or Tyrone Power. Let's see... Captain Blood and Robin Hood or Jamie Waring in The Black Swan and Don Diego in the Mark of Zorro. How can I be expected to pick between them? It's impossible I say. Douglas Fairbanks also did a good turn in The Mark of Zorro (the 1920 silent classic). Banderas is just a wannabe poser.

While I admire Inigo Montoya, you have to remember he was beaten by Westley in what is supposed to be the second greatest swordfight ever fought. The first is supposed to be Inigo's showdown with Count Tyrone Rugen, the six-fingered man, but we all know that fight doesn't quite live up to its billing. ;)

Currently I'm rereading The Fencing Master by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. In it, fencing master Don Jamie Astarloa is on a life-long quest to find the perfect thrust, one that is impossible to parry, so he needs to be added to the list.

Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D'Artagnan should also be considered for the list. As should Edmond Dantes, The Count of Monte Cristo.

And the only "gay" Zorro was George Hamilton. :p ;)

Well forgive me for trying to class up the joint. :p ;) Anyway it's your fault. :p You gave the option for "other." ;) Remember you can only frame the question, you can't control the answer. Besides, I didn't see "Xena Warrior Princess" in the list of choices.
