Two Alfa cars entered into the BRIGHTON & HOVE MOTOR CLUB EAGLE Sprint this Saturday . The circuit is 2.4 miles and spectator entry is FOC . Postcode PO18 0PH for your satnav's:)

ALFA 33 & ALFA 159 ( anyone on here ???)---- I'll also be racing but in Sports Libre , basically an all comers category and there are some big beefy cars entered . GT40 's LOTUS BUICK V8 's CORTINA V8 , SPORTS 2000 DURATEC , 2 X ESCORT's , SYLVA PHOENIX 2lt supercharged plus myself in an SSC STYLUS 2lt 231bhp .
I've actually driven the PHOENIX supercharged at ABBEVILLE/France early this year and it's bloody quick . Also beaten one of the GT40 drivers and the CORTINA v8 last season but the others are unkown to me.
In my case my ALFA 159 2.4ti will be the tow car

That sounds brilliant! I'm travelling back to sussex this weekend (Where I'm originally from). I'd be very tempted to come and see this. Only down side is, I wont be in the spider :(

I'll be easy to find although not always by my car . I'm car/paddock number 60 and it's very RED , as is my ALFA 159 ti tow car. I normally wear a rather faded MONACO cap , black with flames and white race overall . Come and introduce yourself

I may well do! So where exactly is it? I've only ever gone to the Festival of Speed, I'm guessing it's not at the actual house/grounds

Goodwood motor race circuit's been there since the 2nd world war --- long before any motor event at his house.
If you approach from Portsmouth direction along the A27 OR the Arundel direction along the A27 ----- once you're close to the roundabout to go off you will see the BROWN Goodwood signs . POSTCODE PO18 0PH and this will take you into the entrance where you can park up then walk through the tunnel OR drive through if you can find a place to park BUT it's unlikely if not there early like us.

RESULTs

Nice to see you there yesterday AlexDM . Well with the cars in my class it wasn't going to be a win this time for me but did manage to beat both Lotus 19 Buick drivers , the Cortina V8 5.7lt , one of the GT40 600BHP drivers , both Escort formula 2 chassis Cosworth drivers ------ so ended up 4th in class at 94.18 sec's .
The ex- formula 3 driver in his Sports 2000 240bhp won at 86 sec's ish , the Phoenix [email protected] was 2nd at 89 sec's ish then the quickest GT40 driver 3rd at 91.82 sec's .

The Lotus 19 Buick was driven by Whizzo Williams , I think at the Goodwood revival at some point but the new owner obviously was not as quick -------------- but then who would be
Having seen what another 'Ade' remapped 159 2.4 can do here , I quite fancy giving mine a go too possibly next season
