Is it worth going to DAB in the car?

My original Alpine 932 radio/cassette (!) is dying, and I'd also like to get a red LED display to match the dials (black with red illumination). So while I'm updating it, I was thinking of going DAB.

I've got two fantastic PURE radio's in the house (Marshall with addn speaker) and combo in bedroom, and love being able to pick up non-FM stations.

But I heard that DAB doesn't do traffic, etc ... is that true?

I've listened to continental music ... I'd make sure it has an MP3 socket

I use TuneIn. Any station you want from around the world over the 3G
telephone network.......
Providing you have a continuous 3G signal, which is VERY rare when driving around pretty much anywhere in the UK - I've tried!
