Does anyone know of an affordable place where five friends can go go-karting? Anywhere in the Pta / Jhb area will be fine. So far the only place seems to be Compu-Kart in Edenvale.

Have you tried the karting track in Vereeniging. May be a bit pricey, but it is a proper kart race track and loads of fun. The Alfa club of SA has a karting event coming up soon that will be held at that track. Check out the clubs website at Alfa Romeo Club of South Africa

I know you can go karting at kyalami, I heard it was 400 for 30min but you get to race those 125 rotax engine karts.

Ive been to compukart in edenvale, wouldnt go back there, old karts that barely work, we could only race 3 at a time, and the whole feel of the place is dirty..

I would try the place out in vereeniging, havent been there yet but planning to go, let us know how it goes.

Divan, there is also the Randburg indoor raceway.... ARCSA used to have the Go-cart challenge there before.... not bad, and definitely better that Compu-kart
