I've done a previous reply to something similar. Gf's diesel, not AR, had this with power steering lamp on too. Turned out to be a blown stop light!!. Glow-plugs only really needed on very cold mornings.
I've also heard some diesel engine oinly use the plugs at very low (minus) temperatures. Funny how they wear out so readily and that the plug manufacturers give info about fast heating, then lower self regulating currents to keep them warm, and a longer post heat cycle to promote fast engine warm up and improve overall running and efficiency in the first 2 minutes. Doesn't add up.
Hi ,read your post that you had changed glow plugs, can you say how to get the wires off the plug ? Are they just pull off or is there a thread ? Dont want to ruin connections.
Its a 1.9 jtd multi jet 04
Would be gratefull for any help
