Hi there
Looking for some tips on how to remove the glovebox trim on my 147.
I want to add a charge point and aux in to the glovebox.
I see there are 3-off start-fixings around the flock lined inner and a large socket cap screw at the back. There are also 3 off screws along the bottom I think.
Has anybody got experience of doing a similar job?
I Don't want to randomly start undoing a load of screws on the dash in case I break something!
Note - I plan to use the ground to the glovebox lamp for my additional power outlet which will be fused at 3A with an inline fuse but to be fair I will only be running USB devices so mA current draw anyway.
All advice appreciated - bit of a newbie to all this but fancy the challenge of doing it all myself!
Thanks

You've got it!
6 torx screws - T25 - 3 at the top and 3 below.
1 hex screw - 5mm - in the glove box itself.
Unclip the hinges from the drop-down cover.
Remove innards and disconnect the 2 connectors at the left hand side and the connector to the light itself.
Once in there, there is a screw right at the back that can be used as a ground point.

brilliant - thanks for the advice.
Sounds easy enough - hopefully even a newbie like me wont break anything!
Thanks again
