Giulietta headlights

Hello all,

I am wanting to replace the standard H7 (dipped) bulbs on my G. I want them to be a similar colour to the DLR lights. I have been looking at the Philips x-treme Vision and the Osram Night Breaker plus - any ideas?

Also looked at bulbs with a blue tint to make them look white?

Thanks

A quick search gets this

Sounds like changing the Giulietta bulbs is no easier than other knuckle skinning car headlamps!
I just installed the Osrams .......................................and very disappointed

No better than the OE
if you get white colour halogens it will be really hard to see the road when its raining
I went for these

H7 OSRAM Cool Blue Hyper 5000K Upgrade Xenon Headlight Bulbs (Pack of 2) - NEW

I love them, match the LED's and have had people comment how good they are.

I had the phillips on my mito and they were ok but they blew all the time. the osrams have lasted longer and are brighter. but they aren't as bright as HID for sure. If you after a HID effect with good enough lighting I can recommend these.
4200K is the maximum officially allowed for H7. Closest match is Osrams (Cool Blue, not Hyper) I think hitting 3750K or so.
yeah i know that but i still got them...

IMHO, a practically perfect match with DRL lights are Philips Diamond Vision. As seen on picture below of my Giulietta.

(The colour similarity in reality looks even better than on the picture, because of unwanted reflection given by red car parked nearby.)

Of course, 5000K halogen bulbs are not road legal.

Agree with Zagorar. I've also got Diamond visions and they are a very close match to the DRLs. V.poor road illumination though. Useless on B-roads and unlit motorways.

I bought a pair of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400380986777?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2648

Was slightly skeptical due to the price, but thought for the money i'd give them a go, having just fitted them although it was still bright out when I fit them, look so much better than the yellowish light of the standard bulbs and appear to match the DRL's quite well.

Got some pics of them now dark, they don't really do it justice, phone camera was having none of it this evening.

Cheers all,

Tris2 - I might give them a go considering the price. How are they on the road?

I'll give the car a drive tonight and let you know
I've got a 6k HID kit for my headlights and fogs and they match perfectly and are 100% better than stock.

took the car for a quick drive in the dark, they give off a nice light and doesn't appear to be dim or poor brightness, for the price can't really fault them

Thanks for the link. I have just fitted a set and the difference is amazing and so much better. I will hopefully give them a try tonight when it gets dark and see what they are like, but aesthetically they are great. Thanks again
I'd like to upgrade my high beams, any suggestions? 4300-ish K would be nice as I've got factory HID.

I have 100W bulbs, but they have a fairly yellow light so would prefer something else. I used these on my 156 in the past without issues though

no worries glad you're happy with them and I could've been of some help :)
