Hello from Turkey dear alfisties

I have a 1.4 TB MultiAir 170 HP Giulietta and I want to have more power. I'm an automotive engineering BS student and I researched a lot about my tuning plan. My plan is this;

1-) Disvolve the Wastegate
2-) İnvolve performance Downpipe
3-) Full 63.5 mm Exhaust
3-) Magneti Marelli ECU Box or a special software
4-) Air Filter
5-) A larger turbo
6-) A larger intercooler

How can i choose larger turbo and intercooler? How can i understand that model is what i'm searching? These questions are also applicable for intercooler. I'm an open-mind person, I can listen your another suggestions.

Maybe this kit can also fit on your engine. I think it is the same as the Mito.

From my similar looking around at all the bits needed to really up the power on the G 1.4 170 the following seem to be key.

MA unit is good for about 220hp & to achive the best results are:

- Exhaust (especially header and cat)
- hybrid turbo
- air filter (no need for induction kit)
- a good remap

my understanding of things like intercooler / waste gate are just to smooth out the running and temps but wont give significant power input for the cost.
Also the turbo is already pretty big for a 1.4L no need to increase the size.
Maybe a full service of fluids, filters & plugs whilst your at it would help too.

Thanks for your suggestions, i thinked about that and i have the same idea with you. With a good remap or MM Ecu Box, air filter and exhaust modification, i hope that i can reach 220-230 hp. Can you make a suggestion about Hybrid Turbo ?
