Hi All,

First post so be gentle!

I have recently just purchased a 2010 Giulietta (1.4 Multiair) with the upgraded Brembo brakes. This forum has been a fantastic help so far - however, i am struggling with which pads the vehicle uses. ECP has 'another' sale on, but is giving me two options for front pads:

One with 'lugs':

One without 'lugs':

Also, while i have your attention, will this Shell Helix oil 5w40 be acceptable to use?

https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/...0557da30db23998b6b49e2f8b75846089365b1&000398

Would someone be able to advise me which ones i require?

Thanks in advance!

If I was you I would get both sets and return the ones you don’t use.

As for the oil I used shell in mine can’t remember if it was that one but it met the Alfa specs, does the helix you have looked at meet the Alfa specs for the MA?

That was going to be my fall back - nearest ECP is around 20miles away so could do without the hassle of returning them! Hence I was hoping one of the users on here knew 100%

I'll have to check on the specs. To be honest, i'm not sure what the Alfa specs are.

Oil is the right one and the pads you need are the first ones look at the figment detail and the date of manufacture ?

You need to measure the diameter of the discs and that will let you know which bits will fit. Factory fitted Brembo's are 330mm IMHO but there are Brembo options for the smaller discs as well. I fitted EBC pads and disks to my car last year and they seem to perform very well.
