Hi guys,
i’d like to tune my 2016 Giulietta Veloce, basically I’d like to match the power of the SC version. So I was wondering, what has to be done. As far as I know, it’s just a question of an ecu tune, Downpipe (more on that later) and upgraded exhaust. Does anyone know, wether there were any other changes were done to SC version? When it comes to a dp, Id probably skip it and therefore sacrifice let’s say 10hp, for a sake of the law. Will these changes be enough, to achieve ~270hp? And if so, can She handle it safely, reliability wise?
Can’t wait to hear from you guy,
V.

The 1.75 is good for upto 300 bhp in stock form with just an ecu remap. Not sure if your in the uk but alfacare (https://alfacare.co.uk/performance-upgrades/alfa-romeo-remaps/) is where I would get it done if you can. As well as this according to them 'When tested by us we have seen figures of 260 BHP for unmodified cars' however whatever the power bump is its always welcome. Hope this helps
Thank you very much for your answer, I’m glad to hear that she can take so much. I’ve heard nothing but good things about alfacare, however I’m living in Poland. But then again, i think i know some reputable tuners, so i might make a visit.

yeah right.
In europe main land, no tuner has ever seen such power on non-modified cars, the manuals in most cases don't even reach the 230pk standard
With proper (best 3") downpipe and exhaust and BMC CDA (although i am not convinced the latter is really required), the standard turbo can be tuned to reach 300pk - also depending on how clean the internals are, as direct injection cars tend to get dirty.
Without the exhaust mods, 270-ish is the max; you need a modified turbo (like jtdperformance sells) in addition to the exhaust modifications, to go beyond 300pk.

My setup is hybrid K04 with 2,5" downpipe, race kat and sport mid silencer and I reach 295pk, tuned by H&S Corse – Italiaanse Auto Specialist – Alfa Romeo – Fiat – Abarth (hs-corse.nl) using bespoke revlimit software.
H&S CORSE | hs-corse.nl on Instagram: “Alfa Giulietta qv from Arjan for upgrade from st1 to st3 k04hybride Stage1 268.2hp 395nm New setup : K04hybridJTDperformance St2…”

Damn, for the modifications you have, 295 does not seem like a lot. As i said, i would be interested in around 270-280hp i think thats plenty for a fwd car. Btw. i've done the resonator delete, but mainly to improve the sound, i don't think it has any influence when it comes to power.

295 and 478Nm - torque is impressive and addictive ;-)
We expected 310pk, probably power is down due to too restrictive exhaust (Raggazon) and maybe intake needs cleaning?

270/280 is in reach without major mods, the resonator delete only adds joy, no power.
