Surprised Top Gear hasn't raced them around the grounds of a stately home.

Italian car mages tend to measure things (like centre of gravity, lean angle etc..) whereas the British mags tend to just say the German offerings "feel better"!

I quite agree. I've always considered Autocar etc dumbed down compared with Quattroruote for which I have an online subscription,

Imagine how quick the Giulia QF would be with 4wd. Alfa missed a trick with this instead of fannying around with electric for future models.

You mean Veloce.

QF was always RWD, everywhere. One of the main Giulia's recognising characteristic is being RWD, they would kind of kill this marketing-wise if making its most powerful and most spoked about version Q4.
