So a friend on mine who lives in Sweden just went to test drive the 180hp diesel version. He's actually interested in the 280hp petrol version, but for the time being their local dealer has got a diesel demo car only.

According to him he did like the car, but! He's telling me that the 200hp came out more expensive than a BMW 330i with M package and some extras.

WTF?

Makes no sense, check the various price lists across Europe, Giulia is always just a bit cheaper than 3series with similar bhp. Don't know about Sweden though, but your friend should re-check the prices.

edit: just checked that for you, Giulia 2.0 Turbo ATX Super is 345.000 sek, while BMW 320i (184hp) Steptronic is 331.600 sek, and 343.500 sek for Sport Steptronic.

I have said this in the UK finance deals thread I started too
I'm hoping dealers offer some decent discounts or I personally can't justify opting for a new one over a BMW for example
Will just need to wait and see what happens with pre reg ones but it's dissapointing
They need to shift volumes of this car it's basically meant to be a rep mobile competitor
