Is it that far-fetched? The Stelvio order books are already open, and the next car in line is the Coupe. I'm there on the 9th so will report back in detail if it appears!

I'm also skeptical as surely we'd have seen spy shots by now? Nonetheless I really, really, really want this to be true! I've been delaying ordering the Quadrifoglio with hope of the coupe being released. I'd kick myself so much if I spent £60k on the saloon and the coupe arrived a few months later. I'd set a deadline of March for any sniff of a coupe, otherwise was going for the 4 door, but if it is true I'd be more than happy to wait!

IF the car is announced in March when could we expect deliveries to start?

if they announce it in March it means it will be ready to go and all that needs to be done are probably a few loose ends and testing, so probably by about December...

It would have looked better if the person responsible for this had actually looked at the pictures... The Giulia Coupe still has the rear door windows in.
The Shooting Brake and estate are the same car. No Stelvio.

Anyway, as a line up, it does make sense although I guess the cabriolet would be better off being based on the Giulietta rather than the Giulia.
And leave the massive SUV out of the line up, reminds me of the Merc R-Class and that is just a pointless waste of metal.

They might ANNOUNCE it at the show, i.e. "We are thinking about doing a coupe! YAY!" But I wouldn't hold your breath for any sight of it this year knowing Alfa lol

And when it does arrive, ARUK won't know about it and be genuinely shocked when they start arriving at ports. They will be asking customers WTF are these things? Meanwhile Central Scotland will still only have 1 dealership and the automotive press will say it's sh*** because it's not a Volkswagen.

The next car may be a bigger SUV according to Bigland expected to be revealed late this year or some time in the next

A coupe was styled as was a bigger 4dr. The money was not spent. If Bigland said it's been spent on a bigger SUV, that's the decision that was made.

Mercedes, BMW and Audi all have premium coupes in this segment. Alfa Romeo have to realise that glamour is so important and they must be true to the heritage of the brand. Coupes and convertibles are part of Alfa's DNA and to not have mainstream entrants into this market (forget 4C - far too specialist), is a glaring error.

Indeed!
Unfortunately Big Bigland seems to be too focussed on the crossover segment atm.
Fingers crossed though! They have the 3 series rival out there now doing well, if they can do a BMW and quickly stick a coupe body on that platform then they will be competing with the 4 series too which can only be good for sales.

BMW and Audi have the volumes high enough to do a Coupe version of their relevant models. The A5 was an A4 Coupe until Dasilva and his team were given an extra year to make it into a model in its own right. Hopefully Alfa can reach a critical mass and be able to do a Coupe of the Giulia or yet another Maserati based car like the 8C and the Alfieri. This may be achieved by selling SUVs as it did with Porsche and their Canine without which they'd have been in trouble.

The M4 has caught on well enough, and the coupes seem to sell very well in general.

More important I guess is how efficiently Alfa can actually use the current parts they have to super-tart the saloon into a coupe. That flexible wheelbase ought to be a good start.
