With this month's edition of the magazine, Top Gear have added a Giulia to their long term fleet, but this time around have gone for the 'everyman' version (their words !) - ie a Super 2.0 in MC Blue.

Although they have then specc'ed it up to just short of £40K with :
  • seven hole alloys
  • climate pack
  • electric seats
  • cold weather pack
  • sport pack
  • driver assistance plus
  • electric mirrors
  • active cruise control
  • and...yellow calipers

So not really that 'everyman' after all :blabla:

Comments so far -
"Good Stuff" : the office loves the Giulia's styling and design. Drive sweetly.
"Bad Stuff" : Fuel consumption could be better (31.8mpg), but the engine is still bedding in

So any predictions as to how this is going to go ? Although they loved the QV they had long-term, it caused "a notable amount of stress"....
Its reg is RX68 HJY in case anyone sees a Super in MC Blue round and about ....

I'd have picked a Nero, they've over spec'd, but it shows what you can get for under the £40k threshold.

Good stuff! Maybe it will finally encourage the sheep away from the Germans

I find it amusing when these magazines say that they spec’d the cars as I suspect the press-fleet at the car company tell them what they’re getting so they review a car with the right extras.
