Don't give a toss about the views of the xenophobic ****.

Just look at the EFD grouping an get a glimpse of his true views.

How dare he try and conjure up some kind of allusion to WWII/Nazi Germany.

His predecessor, Roger Knapman, was an utter **** too.
(And a hypocrite which, for me, is the worst kind of politician.)

I like Germany.

What's the problem with them being in charge?

I've heard good things about Germany, though I've never been there.

Reading the back cover of RoSPA's Care on the Road about why they don't support the mooted 80MPH limit they mention the fatality rate on Autobahns, so perhaps they're not as good as some of believe?

You are right there. Some of them are plain scary. I drove from Munich to Stuttgart last week in the freezing fog and the Autobahns were still de-restricted. People were doing 200+ KPH on a 2-lane road. Legally

And the standard of driving isn't what it once was. Not sure how long they'll keep their speed limitless roads.

On the plus side:

Is that 120MPH on a dual carriageway, or 120MPH on two single lanes going in opposite directions without a barrier between?

I guess moderating speed inline with traffic and weather conditions is difficult for some people?
