The cable attached to my gearbox popped off and the gear stick became limp.

The bushing at the gearbox end of the cable had failed and thus the cable would not stay connected to the gearbox.

For any other frustrated souls below is information regarding replacement gearbox cable bushings for when they wear out.

yup that one works.. better then oem. TS only

I did not realise that this bush is for the Twin Spark.

Does anyone know where I can buy a gear box bush for the V6?

I appreciate your reply but this kit is incorrect. It is not for the bush on top of the gearbox. This kit is for the gear stick surround.

do you know who supplies the bush for the gearbox cable ends for the V6?

Specifically the bush in the cable end that sits on top of the gearbox.
