Hello All
I have just replaced the plugs on my 147 2.0TS, and only after did I think about the Gaps, the larger twin electrode plug i assume does not require gapping, but what about the smaller diameter plug any advice would be handy. I would really like to get a proper paper copy of the repair manual if anybody knows where they can be obtained that would also be appreciated.

Gap comes set from factory. What plugs did you use?

Yep that was my understanding, its pre set at the factory. I used platinum tipped NGK's when replacing mine, I'm sure it said on the box all 8 were pre set. Trying to tap them to adjust the gap could lead to the platinum tip being damaged = possible engine probs!!!!!

yep, all come pre-set DO NOT try to regap.

assuming you used the correct NGK Platinum plugs.

Thanks everybody, yes i used genuine plugs, sourced throgh the ever helpfull flea bay, and saved myself half the cost, if i had of gone to a main dealer!
