hi i have just been looking through my book
and my fuse board under the steering column and the top right fuse slot
seems to be missing ?
can anybody advise me what it is for
its the one on the right of the heated seat on the top of the fuse board under the steering column

It's for the electric sunroof. If you don't have a sunroof then you don't need a fuse in that slot.

All handbooks and workshop manuals show that fuse being required to supply the sunroof control unit with power. All I can think is that there may have been a problem in the past and someone might well have wired around that fuse (i.e. run a new wire from the sunroof control unit with it's own inline fuse in).
