Hi Guys,
I have a nasty fuel smell once driving.
It's not present if the car has been sat still and aired. It would appear to tie in when fuel would normally be returned from the fuel rail after a bit of driving.
I have had a look in the boot of the car under the lining and found the following:
A large filler pipe, sealed to the tank.
Fuel sender top with connectors.
A pipe from the filler cap, leading to behind inner arch with what looks like a filter/check valve in-line
A pipe from the filler cap leading inside the boot skin and again into the rear arch.
Has anyone any ideas where these pipes should be heading? Ive read up that there should be a vapour filter somewhere in the boot - Not seeing anything of the sort though!
Anyone who has any hints - advise greatly appreciated!
