Hi everyone,

So my fuel pump started leaking and it was time to drop in a new one. The fuel gauge was working with the old pump, but after I dropped the new one it doesn't. Just flashes the amber light a few times and that's it, reading zero. Only thing that I totally forgot when changing it for a new one is to disconnect the battery :/, anyone with similar experience like this? Is the fuel gauge now blown up, because it doesn't work even when i connect the old pump back.

fuel gauge is very temperamental, Park drives side on a curb and its qtr tank, Park passenger side on a curb and its empty, these are not accurate in the slightest

I am well aware of that :), but the problem is the gauge doesn't move at all even with almost full tank. Thought if someone had a similar problem, but anyway it's time to bring multi meter up when weather gets better to see where the problem is.

Both my gtv's do this, but they always fix themselves at some point. It is a pain as I did run out of fuel on motorway once...
