I read that on the 156 and 147 you can replace the standard air intake with one from the GTA (or 2.4JTD - same part). This give a minor power improvement but more importantly a nice engine note. I do feel the TS engine is a little too muffled. Can this be done on the 166?

Having looked at the airbox on the 166 is substantially better designed the the 147. It's larger. Has a circle cone type filer and takes the air from the front of the car low down.

The 147 narrows and takes the air from high up in the wheel well.

So the same mod won't work.

You could change the airbox for something ekse if you want intake roar.
