NEW OWNER HERE JUST INVESTED IN A GT DIESEL ONLY HAD CAR FOR A WEEK OR SO ANN FRT PASSENGER SIDE TYRE HAS BLOWN OUT AND LOOKS LIKE ITS RUBBING ON SOMETHING ON THE INSIDE OF THE WHEEL ARCH POSS TRACK ROD I HAVE 17 INCH WHEELS WHICH LOOK STANDARD ANY IDEAS PLEASE

First of all... STOP SHOUTING...!!

What size tyre and had you checked the pressures?

no i have not checked the tyre should it be 33
tyre size is 225 /40 / 18
For normal load:
Front: 2.5 Bar (36.3 PSI)
Rear: 2.4 Bar (35 PSI)

For full loads:
Front: 2.8 Bar (41 PSI)
Rear: 2.7 Bar (39 PSI)

Make it easy for yourself and set them using "Bar", not "PSI".

Check you dont have a broken coil spring, I have seen this a few times, not on Alfas though where the bottom coil has snapped off the spring and the spring has ridden over the lower spring seat and rubbed on the inside of the tyre.
