I think I maybe able to replace the CV boot without taking the hub nut off!
I've been thinking, dangerous I know.
If I remove the caliper, track rod arm and unbolt the strut from the hub, I can pop the bottom ball joint (should be easy as it's only went on yesterday) and pull the driveshaft out, complete with hub.
Then get a "stretchy" CV boot and one of them fitting cones and slide it on from the gearbox end.
Hmm, I made that sound easy!
