I have Lucas brake calipers on my 1997 TS GTV, They are really (really) corroded and I was looking to do a refurb on them but I cant afford to have the car off the road so was going to buy some second-hand ones and refurb those and swap

I've had a look at the threads on here but I cant see a thread that answers my exact question.

Are the Lucas and ATE calipers interchangable? ie. Can I buy some ATE ones and just throw them straight on in place of my Lucas ones with no issues?

Yeah I saw those but I can get some ATE ones locally cheaper, but was not sure if they would be a straight replacement.
