I was just coming to post this. Here's another take.

As depressing as this is, it's not a surprise. Whenever you've walked into a Ford dealership over the past number of years, the showroom has been nothing but truck, truck, truck, truck, SUV, SUV and one lone Mustang.

When you compare F150 sales to everything else, why would they bother with other model "cars"?

Does anyone else think that this is a sign that the car market is going to shrink soon and they want to stay in business either as long as possible or to be profitable enough to adapt to whatever the transportation market becomes?
