Yes they are from the Mk1 Mexico I think, but were more "period British" fenders than specifically "Ford" fenders. I've seen a junior with them on as well.

The Escort Mk 1 is also a bucket list car for me...... somehow they are just cool.....
My grandad used to have a Escort Mk 1 GT..... in racing blue with black detail .... which he traded in on a damn Corolla :vomit:
Sold that to buy a Fiat 128 Rally in mustard..... that became my first car when he passed away.....

Eric, I love the mk1 Escorts as well. And the old Jag XJs which also have similar curves to the 105s. I got a lead on fender flares (and fiberglass bonnet and bootlid to drop some weight) for the 105 GTs in Cape Town.

On prices for good Berlinas - one pristine example shifted for circa R70k down here recently.
