I have a spare Alfa Romeo 2.5 V6 12V 'Busso' engine that I'd like to sell.

It was taken from a 155 so would be suitable for dropping into another 155 or perhaps a 164. Alternatively they make great transplant engines, and can be modified for RWD use.

I bought it several years ago for (another) project that I'm now having to admit won't happen and since then it has sat warm and dry in my garage. Never stored outside at all.

It is a complete engine with most ancillaries attached and was sold to me as a good runner, but I have never run it so obviously I can't confirm this. I'm afraid I don't recall the mileage on it either.

It is located in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

You'll need to collect it ideally, I have a crane to help with that. I do also have a spare pallet and for, say, £15 to cover the cost of a tarp and some straps I would be willing to wrap it and strap it to the pallet and get it kerbside so that you could send someone to collect it.

I think £125 is a reasonable price, all things considered.

If I had space, I’d have that in a flash. However Mrs rxe says that 3 20 foot containers full of stuff that “might be useful” is enough....
