Got the flu jab 2 weeks ago......3 days later had to get antibiotics for a honker of an infection......all cleared up.....and over the last few days have got the cold again.
......not a word of complaint though ;)

Well I dip badly last night after a couple in the pub. I felt so rubbish I turned my tea off, half cooked, and went straight to bed. Got up at midday today, quite unheard of for me.

Update. Turns out I may have already been infected with cold/flu before my jab. Guy at work who I had a meeting with on Thursday was coughing a bit during it. Found out he'd been bed bound all weekend!

STAY AT HOME SICK BOY AND DON'T INFECT ME!!

Colds, flu, chest infections are spread by inconsiderate humans, not vaccine.
My grand children get coughs, colds and other diseases at nursery and school and generously pass it on to me.
I’ll get a chest infection at the drop of a hat, these kids infect me several times a year.
I like to think the flu jab saves me from the worst of illnesses, but the mildest somewhat floor me.
