I fear I may be banished from the forum for asking this.....

I think I once read that the 155 and the Fiat Tempra share the same floorpan, is this correct, and if so will a Tempra towbar fit my 155.

The 155 was based on a Tipo floorpan, as was the Tempra. This does not (necesarily) mean that a Tempra towbar will fit a 155, though, because the boot floor, bumper and various under-body components are likely to be different. Best to check with a towbar company to see if the part number is the same.

I looked at GT Towing and they list 'bars for the Tempra but not for the 155 so I reckon they're different.

The 155 floorpan is based on the Tipo but a towbar is not just about bolting a hook to some reinforced holes in the floorpan.

The shape and the length and the aesthetics are probably the difference between the different kits listed (and if Tipo and Tempra have a different kit, the chances of the Tempra kit fitting the 155 must be slim).

And I think the wheel well is not technically part of the floor pan so a difference there would stop the transplant.
