I have finally sorted my leak that caused my passenger footwell to fill with water...

as there are many threads on here asking about this problem, hopefully this may help someone!

The problem was a blocked drainage pipe in the sunroof. The block was at the end of the pipe that comes out under the wiper guard in the engine bay. If only I had known this before I followed the water trail from my carpet, behind dash, up pillar trim and on top of the roof liner!

So if you have the same problem, check this!

anyway, its sorted just in time for me to sell it! I am no longer going to be an Alfa owner either, I'm going to a new Civic I-Vtec.

thanks for all the help of the last couple of years!

Thank you and Goodbye!

problem is he is buying a "new civic" so I assume he's going for the UK FN which is widely regarded as being....well a bit $hit in comparison to the older EP due to having 1 bhp more, only torsion beam rear suspension instead of double wishbone and being heavier. why is that good? Unless he gets the JDM market one which is lighter , has double wb sus and more power in which case it is a good choice:thumbs:

GET THE EP 147 boy

Its an 08 1.8 i-vtec (petrol, obviously!) . 140 bhp.

Basically I needed a 5 door (but it still looks like a 3), something that would be cheaper to run and hate to say it, more reliable. This was the best choice all things considered.

Managed to find one with an upgraded factory fitted body kit also which is great.

I will miss the Alfa terribly though :-(
