I've finally given in and bought a set of 17" teles, and now I have to go and pick them up.

What's the best way to fit 4 wheels into a GTV? One in the boot and one on each spare seat? One in the passenger footwell maybe? I can imagine it being a squeeze.

well, it is a squeeze

i ended up with one in the boot, throw a blanket over the back seats, and strap each rear seatbelt around one wheel, so two in the back. it helps to take some cable ties, then you can zip them through the spokes and attach them to the seatbelts. last one in the passenger footwell, with a blanket on the seat where it was likely to rub. just takes a bit of patience, but it can be done dude

Think I might rope in my mate and his Focus, fold the seats down.

Something that's just occurred to me: are the bolts for my current 16" teardrops going to work with the 17" teles?

For the record, I went with one in the boot (spare out), and three crammed/wedged across the back seat. Unfortunately, shoving the passenger seat around caused the airbag warning light to trip, and it ended up costing me two hours' labour to get the fault tracked down :(

Still, the teles look good :)

Interesting! :)

I've got quite used to expecting stuff to fit in the boot - something suggests that once I get a Spider, the Uno might get a new lease of life as the parts-transporter ;) being a "race car" it has no back seats.
