I've got the multi changer from our last 147 and was wondering how easy it is to fit to the brera , is the cable already in place so its just a matter of hunting around in the boot under the boot lining till i find it or do i need to get a new cable and run it through to the front?

also just wondering although if posible wont do this for a while, is it possible to retro fit the bose system in the brera if i can get hold of one and if so how easy is it?

hope someone out there can answer these couple of questions or point me to some threads were they may have already been answerd

You will need to run the cable front to back, the cable/plug is the same.

Forget retro-fitting Bose, there is too much wiring involved and the cost of the electronics and speakers is mental

Should be a piece of cake.

I had the changer option in the Brera.
It's mounted on the RHS of the boot.

You should easily be able to run the cable under the glovebox
to the front of the internal part of the door rubber then down around
the bottom of the door to the rear seats and then it's plain sailing.

cheers for replies with this in mind anyone know where i can get a cable or is it a trip to main dealer (left the old cable in the 147 )

how do you know if you have bose or not in the brera?
when i bought her the guys said it had, (but they were wrong on a few things)
in our 350z it had bose written on the radio and speakers?

Try bluespot.co.uk for the cable.

If you don't have Bose in the Brera it sounds like ****.
(There is a sub on the LHS of the boot. )

thanks for that Nev, it sounds fine, so ill go take a peep in the boot, i wonder why they (bose) didnt stipulate they wanted there name/logo on the radio/speakers somewhere?

on a tangent, the best in car radio set up i have ever heard (production) was mark levinson.
in my old range rover.

Bose badge on Brera only found on rear parcel shelf.
Badge was on speakers on my last GT.
You'd think for 600 notes extra they'd supply a few more badges to 'impress' your passengers

If you're driving a Brera, that's all you need to impress anyone.

The Brera isn't very shouty and the interior matches this nicely
without any 3rd party logos..

Did you fit the cd changer in the end? I have a 147 with a cd changer that I am tempted to swap to my GTA because the 2.0 147 Lusso is becoming all but worthless in terms of price to sell/trade in!
