Just fitting a sparco front strut brace to my 156 JTS, I will need to move this...

what is it? can it safely be placed else where?

There is one on my 1.8TS, was wondering the same thing.

Does it not just unclip from the tower allowing access to the retainer/clip?

yes it seems too. think ill remove the clips and cable tie it to something.

It's the ABS sensor plug (FIAT type), you can do with it what you like, as long as you reconnect it before you turn the keay again.

My question was: Once you have the strut-brace bolted to the car, is it possible to remove the engine plastic cover freely without obstructions from the brace?
Yes, but if you need to do any more major work to the head then it has to come off again.

Not really an issue though is it because taking the strut brace off is only a 5 minute job anyway??? isn't it???
