I've been searching through the threads about servicing. Could someone please clarify some of questions?

I'm a bit confused, I've seen a 'low mileage' service mentioned- what is this and when should I have it, does it affect the warranty?

For the full service when and should this be done?

I spoke to my dealer about this and he told me that the service intervals were 18000 or 2 years on the 1.4 TB Multiair. He did mention that under certain circumstances an oil and filter change may be recommended after one year. The examples he gave were constantly driving in a dusty environment or constant slow speed city work. He assures me that this is optional and will not affect the warranty if not carried out. Please note that this is his viewpoint and other opinions may vary.
