Yes there were photos leaked of them offloading it from the truck and at the stand were it will be displayed. It looks better than the images that Alfa released.. I posted the link to the photos on the 4C thread. Call me crazy but I liked the Matt Red more.

The Alfa ones Alfa released looked like CGI images

But these images makes me wish I was there...

Yes I do agree on color. One thing though the engine bay isn't eye candy in my opinion if there's an engine because of people standing ready to push.

Must say I was hoping to see a closer to production ready car...

But this is the first concept painted in silver and thats it. No changes has been made yet... Even though the head designer hinted at changes to be made for the production version. And yes Nicus no engine in this babe yet!

Yes its a stunning car, but the question remains whether we will see it in SA.. I bloody hope so! I will buy one in a hart beat

Ian, those are the pics that were released by Alfa. It looks computer generated. Look at the "line" on the roof in the picture taken above the car. There is no line on the roof on the Matt Red Alfa or the "spy shots" taken when the car was unloaded at Frankfurt. Well later today the web will be flooded with pictures when its officially revealed at Frankfurt.

You are allowed your opinion. At the end all cars look somewhat similar - all need doors / windows / roofs (if applicable) and at this segment where they try to minimize size / weight - it still needs to fit two 6foot persons, options become limited.

I've sat passenger in a Lotus Exige around Zwartkops 1:15's - I'd LOVE to feel what the 4C can do.

Ah yes I can see how you would mistake that for a 4C :cheese:

Please the headlights are different, the bonnets differ, the air intakes differ

The line going down the side of the 4C is clearly visible on the lotus :cheese:,
The tail lights and rear windows also look the same, even the twin exhausts are the same :cheese:

Excuse the sarcasm but the cars look nothing a like

I think the 4c is exactly what Alfa need it is small with a small motor so not trampling on the big brand FIAT’s like Ferrari and if all goes well it should be a perfect and hopefully affordable alternative to the Lotus against what it is clearly aimed.
I think they found there place in the food chain.
I love a V6 but really hope that they bring it out with the MA, 1750 motors and do not end up spoiling it with a v6 .

The ideal track day tool.

Alfa Romeo 4C
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept debuted at the 81st Geneva International Motor Show in March 2011. The 4C is small lightweight rear wheel drive sports car; its size is similar or slightly smaller than Alfa Romeo MiTo supermini. It is two seater coupe, designed by Alfa Romeo Centro Stile (Alfa Romeo Style Centre) and uses a carbon fiber tub, front rear crash box and hybrid rear frame with main use of aluminium construction to keep its weight as low as 850 kilograms (1,874 lb). Weight distribution is 40% on the front axle and 60% on the rear axle.[3][4] The car was developed independently by Alfa Romeo, however using similar methods as KTM X-Bow and Lotus

I rest my case....
