Hello all,

I have had a lot of queries about an Aberdeen meet so, as requested, i am hoping to set one up in the new year.

Details will be confirmed later but it will be in the Aberdeen city area, possibly second weekend in January (when the christmas rush is out of the way and we are all sober again).

Please let me know how you are fixed for this date, any queries, please post them here, Feel free to PM me aswell if you want.

Hoping this should be a good one.

A formal meet topic will go up just before the new year where you will be able to RSVP.

If geordie cabbie and adamski are still floating about, i would be interested to know if you could make the date.

Well here's an opertunity to go to the meet in a shiny Silver 156 GTA that i have just put up for sale.
Im sorry to sell it and i know that might just leave 2 GTA's in the deen but it has to go.
Would easy come and meet up if there was a gathering in the deen. Just hope ill be home for it.

Steve, you reckon there is only 3 GTA's in Aberfreeze?

There is actually quite a number between the 147 & 156,getting away from the gta,i saw a SW in white at the haudagain the other day, didn't like it at all and yet i saw a saloon on ebay a few weeks back and it looked cool !

Personal choice i suppose,i think the SW in silver is the dogs danglies:cool:

Andrew,i dont know about floating but i intend to be pretty horizontal over the festive period

I should be up 4 it,but will confirm closer to the time.

I have seen more 147 gta than 156,havn't been counting TBH

I do probably see a lot more than most,do a lot of miles during the day and as i'm based at the a/port,Kirkhill auto's are just round the corner and see a lot of cars out on test drives, there the abz alfa independant for those not in the know.

Spotted a 156gta saloon in black at Royal Mail Altens parcel office, couple of weeks back and he had a quad zorst system fitted and wot a growl !he could have been doing no more than 3k revs, bet it sounds awesome at full chat:cool:

Kirkhill autos in dyce is about all there is up here. Kinnons garage in westhill (right by my work) is good with alfa suspension.

I am intending on plenty of regular meets so don't worry, no one will be left out.

Aberdeen isn't the best for meet locations. At the moment i am thinking about something on the edge of the town. Nothing too far for us eh.

Portlethen is a good a place as any !!!!!

Station garage in Kintore has a good reputation,i spoke with the Fiat owners club and they do a lot of work for them and i understand that they have an ex alfa arnold clark mechy, actually i don't know if that is a good thing

I take my bike there and there a good bunch of lads and very busy, which is always a good sign.

There is a number of alfa owners in the N/east who take there cars to Dundee.
