Hello everyone my gtv project finally finished. Hope i can also sort out the interior quickly. Its not a cup or a cup-alike but i think it became a decent 97 MY gtv. What do you think?

Nice one Volcan, one heck of a shine you got there. Did you really put a phase 3 front end onto a phase 1?

If you have any pics of the build process please share them in the motoring images lounge http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/motoring-images/

Nice job

Thanks! thats exactly what i did... i know most of the guys doesnt like phase 3 front end here but i think they look more modern. and phase 1's without aerokits look older -my opinion-. i will try to swap the dash to 2nd phase -i know its hard to be done- hope it will be a success.

There are a few guides on how to do that in this fourm just do a search. What I think would look great is to have the phase 3 air vents but leave the rest black from the phase 1, what do you think?

There;s a lot of information in this thread, happy reading!!!!

great project!

it definitely looks more modern<!!

the phase 3 is growing on me more and more...

i think as you have done the update externally, you definitely should do it internally,

have a look at this page from a french 916 forum;

original thread shows a little more detail, a couple of parts behind need to be filed a little to fit: • Connexion (not sure if you need to be a member to log in?) """

I actually like the P3 Update. I didnt really like seeing them in photos but when you see them in real life on the street you can really appreciate the update.

i glued these pics on my wall, thinking how to do it eveynight.
i had a ph2 spider before and loved the interior, now it looks too dark and old to me.
i couldnt understand the reason this guy painted it to black though...
silver looks much more great i think.
actually because gtv's are very rare in turkey, there are no much aftermarket parts etc.. and ordering from uk is easy, getting them is pain because we are not from EU.
I would buy a coilover set for my bluefella, but getting them here is really hard (the tuning shops are obsessed with honda's bmw's and merc's here)

i would get FK which are not much expensive, but couldnt find a way to get them here... so tried koni+lowering springs, and i missed the big delivery by a week now i will buy original shocks and lowering springs which is a combination i dont like, but lowering springs is a must with 18" wheels and great for breaking turbocharger or manifold!!
