Fiat Chrysler sank as much as 5.1% Tuesday after Goldman Sachs gave it a "sell" ratin

Fiat Chrysler have been doing ok but issues seem to be on the horizon with regulations in Europe etc. The US pickups aren’t enough to keep investors optimistic.

Canada has written their 445

Nine years after a multi billion dollar bailout of Chrysler, the Ontario provincial government has written off $445 million in debt owed by the automaker.

The $445 million writeoff, approved in late June and announced quietly July 5, comes more than a year after the federal government wrote off its $2.6-billion share of the rescue package. It was something the province effectively had no choice in, said Emily Hogeveen, a spokesperson for provincial finance minister Rod Phillips.

Considering how awful most car manufacturers are doing at present the only thing that surprises me is that I don’t have shares in a couple of ‘em.

FCA was 9% down across Europe last month. Not as bad as Honda (-15%) or Nissan (-26%) but not great either.
