I thought it was a great event for the first time out - certainly it got pretty hot!

As picked up by some on the day there were not actually too many races but the Italiano Vs Inglese Allcomers was very good with the Sud and Minis holding their own in the beginning.

As a paying spectator you may expect more for the £24 gate price but seeing as we got in free we really can't complain.

It was also good to see and drive on the GP circuit a bit too in prep for the track parade - I had never been on that but have experienced the Indy circuit several times.

I would like to see some photos from the track parade with everyone lined up 3 abreast - I bet it looks pretty good. I didn't see any photography drones flying about though.

Looking forward to the 2017 run.
