Right then folks, we are having a wee meet and run in the North East of Scotland. Hopefully the weather will not get in the way this time, but then it is Scotland :cheese:
The plan is to do the same run as we had planned for the 30th of January. Start at Stonehaven harbour and take a run up the Slug road to Banchory(A957), then taking a run up the A93 through Banchory, Aboyne and Ballater. Stop off in Ballater for a photo or two, then head back down the B976 on the south side of the River Dee keeping on this road until the turn off for the Cairn o Mount road (B974) stopping at the top for another photo op. From there we'll be going in to Fettercairn then onto the B966 for Auchenblae. From here we have a choice, either have a quick blast up the dual carriageway back to Stonehaven or take the back roads round the back of Drumlithie (narrow and twisty, but good fun if weather is ok!!)
Some really good A & B roads in that route and if the weather is on our side then it will be a fantastic 1st run of the year.
Hope to see a lot of you there folks. Keep your fingers crossed for the weather too
